Coming from the award winning Italy journalist by name Fabrizio Romano, It has been reported that Manchester United has reached a preliminary deal to complete their first signing since the new owners took over. This is the perfect way to begin the new era!

Reports from Germany indicate that Joshua Kimmich has ruled out the possibility of transferring to Chelsea, Manchester United, or Paris Saint-Germain. However, he has expressed openness to a potential move this summer to one of the following clubs: Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, or Real Madrid.

The Bayern Munich midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena over the past year, especially following Bayern’s disappointing 2023/24 season, which has fueled speculation about his departure.

Bayer Leverkusen’s likely Bundesliga triumph, ending Bayern’s streak of 11 consecutive titles, adds to the uncertainty surrounding the club. Additionally, Bayern faces tough opponents in the Champions League, with a quarterfinal clash against Arsenal and a potential matchup against either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semis.

Sky Sport Germany reports that both Bayern and Kimmich are open to exploring a move at the end of the season, as contract negotiations have stalled. Kimmich’s current contract runs until 2025.

Kimmich has explicitly mentioned Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid as potential destinations, signaling his contemplation of a transfer.

Manchester City’s interest in Kimmich is set to intensify this summer, as revealed by Okpops in October, with several top European clubs monitoring his situation.

Two of Kimmich’s preferred clubs, Barcelona and Liverpool, are in transition phases, searching for new managers. Bayern, his current club, is also seeking a replacement for Thomas Tuchel.

Kimmich has made it clear that he has no interest in joining Chelsea, Manchester United, or Paris Saint-Germain, in addition to the aforementioned five clubs.
