He should leave this Club now,I don’t like lazy player that don’t want to improve’: Arteta has told one Arsenal player to find His way out of the club by the summer or He will be treated just as Aubameyang

According to reports from the Daily Star, Arsenal is reportedly considering a surprising move to secure the services of Nottingham Forest’s midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White, during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

While Arsenal currently boasts a strong attacking lineup, manager Mikel Arteta is evidently keen on bolstering his squad options in preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 season. Speculation has arisen regarding the potential departure of Emile Smith Rowe, prompting Arsenal to explore alternatives, with Gibbs-White emerging as a viable candidate to fill the potential void left by Smith Rowe’s departure.

Nottingham Forest recently incurred a 4-point deduction for violating the Profitability and Sustainability regulations, which could lead to further financial repercussions unless they can generate revenue. This situation presents an opportunity for the club to consider parting ways with their record signing, Gibbs-White, who was acquired for a hefty sum of £42.5 million.

Gibbs-White has proven to be a significant asset for Forest since his arrival from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022, contributing 4 goals and 5 assists to the team’s cause this season. Despite his impressive performances, Forest has struggled to capitalize on the numerous clear-cut opportunities he has created due to deficiencies in their attacking department.

Given Forest’s precarious financial predicament, they may be inclined to entertain offers for Gibbs-White, particularly if Arsenal presents an attractive proposition. Arteta views Gibbs-White as a potential replacement for Smith Rowe, whose playing time has diminished in recent seasons due to injuries and a perceived loss of trust from the manager.

Gibbs-White’s versatility and proficiency in various attacking roles make him an appealing prospect for Arsenal. While he primarily operates as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing, his adaptability allows him to slot into different positions across the front line. Arteta may envision Gibbs-White as a valuable backup option for key players like Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.

However, the potential stumbling block lies in whether Gibbs-White would be content with a reduced role at Arsenal compared to the opportunity of being a regular starter at Forest or another club. Nevertheless, if Arsenal can successfully negotiate a deal for Gibbs-White, it could prove to be a shrewd acquisition that adds depth and quality to their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
