Klopp to sign former Man City forward to replace Salah

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s keen interest lies in Leroy Sane of Bayern Munich as the potential successor to Mohamed Salah, as reported by the UK Mirror.

Throughout the summer, the Saudi Pro League displayed significant interest in Salah. Despite numerous bids for the Egyptian international, Liverpool steadfastly rejected them.

However, following Liverpool’s dismissal of a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad, it is expected that they will come back in the new year with an even higher offer.

Klopp has already earmarked Sane as Salah’s replacement, envisioning Salah’s departure.

Liverpool is willing to break its own transfer record, which currently stands at the £85 million spent on Darwin Nunez, in order to secure Sane from Bayern Munich.

Sane made the switch to Bayern Munich in 2020 for £54.8 million from Manchester City and is currently in his fourth season with the club.
