Jurrien Timber starts, Martinelli returns, and Party will pair with Declan Rice. Arteta makes 5 huge adjustments, Saka is absent | Expected Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) against Brighton.

In the upcoming match against Brighton, Mikel Arteta’s team has an opportunity to temporarily claim the top spot in the table with a victory. Meanwhile, Liverpool will not be playing until Sunday afternoon when they face Manchester United away from home.

As the game approaches, we expect several changes from the lineup that secured a 2-0 victory over Luton Town.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya remains the undisputed choice in goal for the club, having kept his 11th clean sheet of the league season against the Hatters. The Spanish goalkeeper will be aiming for another shut-out against Brighton on the road.

In the defensive line, there might be a solitary change. Ben White, William Saliba, and Gabriel Magalhaes are expected to retain their spots, although Jakub Kiwior could replace Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back due to his recent good form.

Similarly, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are likely to make way for Jorginho and Declan Rice in the midfield. The pair will partner Martin Odegaard, with Smith Rowe potentially missing out despite his positive performance against Luton, where he contributed to both goals.

Bukayo Saka was absent from yesterday’s training session as he continues to recover from a thigh issue. With Saka sidelined, Gabriel Jesus could start on the right wing instead of Reiss Nelson. Gabriel Martinelli is a strong contender to replace Leandro Trossard on the left side of Arsenal’s attack.

Kai Havertz is expected to feature once again as the main striker. The German has been in impressive form, with eight goal contributions in his last six league appearances. His aerial presence in and around the box is likely to pose a significant challenge for the Brighton defenders.
