Revealed: The Reason Behind Lisandro Martinez Decision To Leave The Argentina National Team Camp

 



Lisandro Martinez trained with his Argentina teammates this week according to the Dailymail but has now decided to come back to England and prepare fully for United’s Premier League fixture against Brentford where he hopes to make his comeback.


The centre-back was called up to Lionel Scaloni’s squad to face El Salvador and Costa Rica this month despite missing the last six weeks with a knee injury.


Manchester United agreed to let Lisandro Martinez continue his rehabilitation during the international break with the Argentina National team.

Lisandro Martinez rehabilitation has gone to plan but he now feels he is best placed coming back to Manchester as he prepares to make a first team return or the evening kick-off next Saturday, March 30.


While Argentine defender Martinez will miss Argentina’s friendlies against El Salvador and Costa Rica over the next week, United take on Brentford at the end of the month, followed by an away trip to Chelsea on April 4.

United could receive a huge boost with the hopes Lisandro Martinez could inspire the Reds to a top-four finish while seeking to be FA Cup champions in a few months time.
